Nobu Hotel Los Cabos

Impeccable. Excellent attention to detail, service was colossal. All the finer points that I had enjoyed in the Nobu restaurants I discovered in the Nobu resort as well. There is always a danger of being stuck with resort food because of its extreme location and it being subpar, but Nobu's restaurants were in a class all on their own. The pools were so beautiful -- everything was beautiful. It reminded me of some sci-fi one percenter paradise in a dystopian future, where at 3pm they had to lock the gates and secure the perimeter for the daily zombie rush. Ok I digress, but point is, this place is an experience.

We stayed four nights; the hotel's architecture and the gardens are phenomenal. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Pool areas are great, with lots of shade, and the staff and service are polite and attentive. The beach is easily accessible and beautiful; unfortunately, it is too dangerous to swim there, which is a pity. The hotel is located in a remote area, which has its advantages. However, being quite far from the Marina, where the restaurants and shops are, makes dining in one of the hotel restaurants almost a must if you don't want a long, bumpy drive to town. There are several restaurants on the hotel premises. The food and drinks are expensive, as expected. We dined in Nobu restaurant twice; the food was delicious, and the view from the terrace was spectacular, so good value for money.

This hotel is a work of art. The food is absolutely amazing. EVERY SINGLE MEAL ON PROPERTY IS AMAZING. The staff is amazing, I have never seen more staff at a hotel. There is always someone to help or get you something.

The property is espetacular! The decoration and architecture follows a clean Asian minimalist style that really fits a property by the beach. Everything was clean, new. Every corner was planned to satisfy the guests. The restaurants are fantastic, so you can have a superb meal without leaving the hotel. Also, it’s not far from Los Cabos.

Beautiful, serene, architecturally interesting resort. Loved that it was removed from the busy-ness of Cabo, but still within reach of everything. Excellent service -- the head of the Reception Desk, our "local ambassador" (Alfredo Olquin), and the extraordinarily warm baristas at the cafe (Selene and Cinthia) were especially lovely and helpful. We didn't catch his name, but the room service staffmember on night duty was extra sincere and fun -- we looked forward to our hot chocolate and churros late night snack every night. And oh! An Over-the-Top birthday surprise with cake and balloons was the best hotel treat we've ever seen.
